Instead of the next PalmOne Zire being an exact replica of the previous editions, the PalmOne Zire 31 is the least expensive color PDA on the market. Not only has PalmOne upgraded the screen, but also the processor, memory, and has added a SDIO expansion slot. Again, the Zire series moves to encompass more potential users as not only is the device for new users and users want a low cost device, but now for users that want a simple device that still allows some expandability opportunities. The Zire 31 is a strong device for users that still only want a personal information management device, but want some power for additional features and a colorful screen.
