Vaja Classic HP111 Case for the HP iPAQ hx2400

Where do you go if you want the best possible case for your PDA? After all, you likely invested a couple hundred dollars and so you simply have to make sure that your investment is not only protected but stylish. For instance, my girlfriend needs something that looks good to cover her device because, unlike me, she doesn't find PDA's as stylish as I do. Alright, while you might not be the pinnacle of style yourself (I know I am not), sometimes you just want something that is. That is where Vaja comes in. Know this, Vaja doesn't cut corners. Vaja's products are one-of-a-kind both for quality and style. If you want a case that sets your device apart, then you are looking for a Vaja case.
One of the unique things about Vaja's cases is that they are customizable. Even if you have a case for the same device as someone else, in the same color, it is unlikely that you will also have the exact same features. The kind of slots in the case for holding items can be added to a case and customized. You can get a case without slots, two credit card slots and money pocket, or two SD card slots. Adding slots costs $6. A belt clip option can be added for $4. In the case of a device like the iPAQ hx2400 where there is a CF card slot on the top of the device, a cutout can be made in the case to allow for access to the slot while the case closed. Cost of the CF cut out is $4. The inside of the case can be lined with leather for an extra $10. Finally, there are two personalization options for the case. Either $10 for laser cut text or $30 for an embossed logo. For the hx2000 series iPAQ, the base Vaja case will run you $75 plus any extras.
I love the smell of fresh leather, and that is just what you get with a Vaja case. Highlighted by a small logo on the front, it is easy to tell the cases is a Vaja case because of the quality put into the product. Everything is just right on the case even down to a small emblem engraved in the side for where buttons are located. The only thing that puts me off about Vaja is the price, but the price is defiantly shown through the quality of the product. I have only used the Vaja case for a couple of weeks, but I have no doubt that my device is being protected and is being taken care of by the case when it is in my pocket or on the belt clip. Also one of the great features about the case is all the colors that are available. Especially for my girlfriend, she can really find the perfect color case for her (I am suspecting that would be one with purple in it) and it is great that it can be customized to fit the user's requests for style and personalization.

Dave's Score - 9.0
This means, this product is about as close to "the best" as you can get.  This product embodies quality in its design and application, and is something I would use.  Though you still should consider it for yourself, most would probably be happy with this product even if they were unable to try it prior to purchase.
